He notices the tension in her voice and physical presence. Fargo surpress a sigh. The girl was left ignorant. Not really a surprise, but somewhere he'd hoped she would have known. Odia is not been in contact with Eris, and that for...., how long? Most disturbing.
Cautious placing his fingertips together while he leans back in his seat.
Malicious finish her coffee and sets down the enpty mug.
Thats fine but lets lie our cards on the table. Why are you really here? None of is have time to play games.
Always annoying he thinks. But she's right, no time left for playing games.
He shove his seat back and stands up. Niobe follows his lead. His right hand behind his back, the spreaded fingertips of his left hand rest gently on the table. Almost abset-minded he looks to the patterns in the wood of the table.
Lady Odia. I'm sure you have no need for me to get in contact with lady Eris; if you really wants to.
No need for further debate eather.
I shall now inspect our stationned troops here.
After that, my shuttle returns to the Discordia in 85 standard minutes.
He looks up from the table, facing Odia directly. What if she doesn't rise to the bait? We return today to Hapan; with..or whitout you mylady.
He places his closed right fist on his heart, nod to Odia and Malicious and heads to the door.

Odia waited for the door to slide closed before allowing the tension that was keeping her upright to slip into a slump. She stared at the spot on the table where Fargo’s hand had been.
… escort him? She turns her head to the side staring at the person beside her. She had forgotten Graven was there.
Escort him? Odia asked trying to catch her mind up.
Graven set a hand on her shoulder kneeling down to be at her height. I think it would be good for someone to escort Lord Darken to the troops.
Of course. She nodded. That was a good idea she supposed. He stood back up, opened his mouth to say something, noticed Malicious was still there, and snapped it back shut. Once the door slid closed once more Odia looked over to the older woman. She could ask her for advice. No. This was her choice. She stood and nodded to Malicious, if you’ll excuse me I’ve some thinking to do.
She found herself in her mother’s chambers, not entirely remembering how she had got here, but her shadow had followed and was now perched a top Eris’ desk staring at her curiously. Shall I pack for Mistress’ Daughter?
That was the million credit question wasn’t it? Odia flopped into the chair behind the desk feeling vastly small in its grasp. You were told what was going on?
Mistress has requested your presence. We do not upset Mistress.
No, we don’t. Odia agreed. Truly that’s what her life had boiled down to. Odd she related to Nagini in that respect.
Then I will pack.
I’ll do it myself. Odia got out of the chair and went to the closet. Inside were some bags she could use. She picked one and flung it to the couch. She opened it and stared into its empty depths.
Alexandre took me once before, using me against my mother. When we first got here. She backed away from the luggage. What if this was that situation again? She frowned.
A soft knock seemed to echo into her mind and she jerked her head toward the door as it slid open. Nagini was already on her feet, but hadn’t made a move to strike. Melina entered and waved a dismissive hand to Nagini. Leave us.
Nagini snarled and looked at Odia. Odia nodded her head causing the blonde to give a small whimper. As she walked to the exit she stopped beside Melina sniffing in her hair. The door closed behind Nagini, her demented cackle fading into the hall.
Force she creeps me out. Melina points at the bag. Good, you’re packing.
Is it really good? Odia questioned with a shake of the head.
Only if you’d lke to avoid an incident… by which I mean a battle.
What does that even mean?
Fargo Darken is sent out only on tasks where failure is not an option. And Lord Darken does not fail.
So, I never had a choice?
I could lie and say, yes. There is always a choice, but… the answer is no. You’ll be going to Hapes the easy way, or the hard way. And he excels at the hard way.
We could beat him. He’s in a Temple full of Sith… If I give the command…
You’re smarter than that. The majority of Sith that are here were or still are Hapan loyal. Even if you rally those who aren’t, who is to say they’d be able to keep him from snatching you anyway. You’re his goal Mi’Lady. The rest of it boils down to pesky details.
Despite it all, Odia knew Melina spoke the truth. If she said no, and Fargo insisted it could lead to dangerous ground. Odia went into the inner bedchamber coming back with a handful of clothes. Leave me. I will pack. Melina nodded and left the room hollering at Nagini to stay by the door.
As she packed she knew that this was not a good idea. She had an awful feeling about this. Her instincts were good, Eris always said so. If she could just speak to her… she tossed the last garment into the bag and stared over to her mother’s desk. She couldn’t call Eris, but she could speak with her Uncle.

With a nod Malicious pulls the hood over her head and leaves. Back to dutues the base wont run itself while going through some boring mineal tasks something came to mind. Fargo could he be iinvolved the uprising he could get close to the royal family and its not the first time a betrayl like that has happened. Now would they drag Odia off the planed if she refused to go. Now the question in her mind should she help her from a stragic point of you she probobly should.

Pushing the door slightly enough to see Odia had finished with a call not seeing who it was or being interested in who it was with looks over at her smiling. Its been a long time. She could see Odia had lots on her mind. Odia shook her head softly. Maybe, if there was more time she’d have told Alma about her worries. Not that she knew her well, or trusted her - she was with Malicious after all - but it would have been nice to hear what someone her age had to say about the situation. Plus Alma seemed grounded, not like Zara or Hesper, she probably would have something helpful to say, but…
I’m supposed to be in the hangar in a few. She hoisted her bag up and smiled as she looked at the music player. It seemed like a lifetime ago that their little band played her mother’s wedding. What was the name again? Death March? Death Stroke? Death something… Parade that was it. I knew you could play the drums like a beast, I didn’t know you could write music too. Odia complimented, then sighed sadly. You can send them to me it’ll give me something to do during my travel.
They begin to walk out of the room and toward the hangar. An inexplicable dread gripped her as she got closer. She stopped in her tracks. What if this were it? What if Alexandre planned to have that man kill her? She’d never see the temple again, never speak to anyone… Jaden… Chloe… You can do something for me. You will probably see him before I do. Tell Jaden, she paused. Tell him what? Tell him I had to choose my mother too. Tell him I understand, and I miss him.
She begins walking quicker, leaving Alma behind. She didn’t want to have anymore goodbyes. If this was it, if this was her last trip, she wasn’t going to face it as a scared child. She was going to fight until she was at Hapes. She was going to see what had happened to her mother. Find out why she’d been out of contact. Find out what Alexandre had done. And, Force willing, do something about it. The hangar bay lay just before her, she doesn’t hesitate. Her sights set directly on the shuttle.

Fargo has lost track of time.
He finished his inspection round on the detachement.
Almost everything was up on to Hapan standards; now they would match his standards.
Even Graven will.
He ordered his accompanying officers to return to the shuttle and awaits Odia.
Eris daughter is intelligent, she knows she has no other choice then to join him. Her youthful rebelliousness makes her grumble over, but in the end she will come over.
Fargoooo, Fargoooowww, boyish voices out of nowhere.
He looks around, but is standing all alone on a crossing in an rather isolated part of the building. Lighting is pretty economical here.
What are we seeking for Darkooow?
His scanner is useless here, due to Dromund’s atmosphere, even this deep in the structure it has its influence on electronics.
Who are you? Show ourselves. Darken steps into the hallway, following at is slightly goes down.
A teasing boys voice, Who’s your Master, Fargooow, wheeere’s your Master now Fargooo?
Lord Alexandre is at Hapan capitol, together with his wi.. A burst of laughter, coming out of further in the corridor.
Poor Darkooo, lost.
Provocatively singing Darko is Looost, Darko is loooost, Darko is loooeeooost…
A dark thick wall looms up at the end of the corridor. A wall made out of old black stones and bricks.
The massive wall goes up, and up. He stands at what seems to be a curved base of an ancient tower.
What is it we are seeking for Darkooow? He turns around but the corridor behind him is empty.
What are you, where are you? Show yourself!
Mixed, hissing voices, weee are legion, we are countlesssss.
That isss not the question Fargoooo.
Who is hee, who’ss pet arrre youuu DARKENNN!!
He felt himself squeezed against the wall.
Too blind to sseee! To blind to ask yourself, who is heee???
WHAT ARE YOU!! What do you mean?
Mist, dust, sparkles around. Images, flashes, fragments of conversations with Lord Alexandre.
The Ronin on board the Hammer, Ronin in a meeting with Mordred, Mordred and Eris at the base facility, Mordred’s base, Mordred’s factory, another meeting with Lord Alexandreabout a secret facility, the implication of immortality; a hidden clone facility.
Murderrr, murderrerrr, Morder;…. Mordred…..
Feedback schrill in his ears.
Commander?? a distant voice, Commander Fargo, are you ok?
In a blink he pulls the knife from his belt and plunges it into the throat of a Hapan soldier.
The woman’s eye grown as she grab’s her throat, trying to stop the blood.
Her body falls at his feet, her life is floating away on the bloodstream.
The black stones suck up the blood, almost thirsty.
Darko put the knife back on his belt. Some small splatters of blood are visible on his sleeve.
He comb with his hands trough his hair. A warning should be send out to the nearest guardian post to get rid of the corps at his feet.
Outwardly calm, he returns to the hangar, just in time to see the hangar doors going open at the opposite side. The girl was present.
He needs the tranquility of his quarters at the Discordia to think thing over.

Odia was escorted aboard the shuttle by a pleasant enough officer. She almost objected when the woman offered to take her bag, but decided it was stupid to hold on to the damn thing like a teddy bear. She took a seat and tried not to appear as upset as she felt. When Fargo boarded, she had to suppress this irrational urge to run off the shuttle screaming… then again maybe it wasn’t irrational? Maybe the Force was trying to warn her?
It was too late of course, her mind was already made up. With or without her own opinion on the matter needed. She starred at him without realizing she was doing so. That’s when she caught a glimpse of his sleeve. A dark splotch ruined the otherwise pristine uniform. She adjusted herself uncomfortably, having a feeling she knew what that stain was. Blood.
No. She could almost hear Eris in her ear chastizing her discomfort. You have leverage, let’s test Fargo’s balance. The shuttles engines roar to life as she gathers her courage. Clasping her hands in front of her she clears her throat to get his attention. I hope that wasn’t anyone I know. She makes sure to stare pointedly at his sleeve before turning her gaze to his face. She can feel the shuttle begin to make its ascent and knows there is no going back now.

Fargo sits straight up, his back pushed back in the shuttles seat. His hands folded on his lap.
The engines of the military shuttle roars to life, the vibration shakes slightly trough the shuttle as they take off.
The girl in front of him is clasping her hands. She stare at the splotch on his sleeve and says something about it while she gaze at his face.
Murderrr, murderrerrr, Morder;…. Mordred…..
Feedback; schrill in his ears.
He returns the look, chilly. Why has he to babysit on this one? He needs the tranquility of his quarters on board the Discordia, to think things over.
He taps with his right indexfinger on the device at his right ear. Look at the officer sitting at her left, and points to the headset hanging beside her head.
You are now Hapan responsibility lady Odia.
Light coming trough the cockpit’s windows, fades. He endure the change of pressure on his chest as they escape Dromund’s gravity, and its dark ambience. Stars starts to sparkle trough Dromunds fading light.
Discordia, this is shuttle 3.01.A. T.O.A. 15 minutes.

Re: Dromund Kaas Temple
Odia held his chilly stare. Did he think a look like that would silence her? He obviously hadn’t been on the other end of an Eris or Malicious scolding as she had. She looked to the device and frowned. It’s not like she really wanted to chat with him, but she obliged.
You are now Hapan responsibility lady Odia.
Before she can respond, a voice in her ear announces their ETA. She leans close to the window and can make out the ship just a head. Even at the awkward angle she viewed it, she could see it was massive. Was it really necessary? Just to carry her safely to Hapes? Not a simple transport for a secretive arrival. No, she was supposed to believe her mother would send a huge unmissable target.
She sits back in her chair and levels her eyes on him again. He was irritated. The earlier conversation they had had where he’d briefly let it show he had some doubts about something danced in her mind. Maybe… maybe she could add some more in this 15 minutes. I’ve been Hapan responsibility twice before.
The first, Alexandre saw fit to take me from my mother and hold me hostage. Until he let Jaden help me escape for whatever reason. The second he’d taken both my mother and I. It seems just when they’d formed some sort of alliance, I was nearly raped by one of your fine Hapan soldiers. She sucks in a quick breath to push away the memory of that unfortunate event. My mother placing me under the responsibility of any Hapan, no matter her relationship with Alexandre, is a load of Hutt shit.
She’s probably spent their entire marriage delving into his files and personal dealings. She probably knows more about him at this point then you ever will. I don’t care if her eyes light up when he farts, she wouldn’t trust him with my protection. She wouldn’t trust you. Eris came to Drumond Kaas after the Sith School because she knew it was safe. She knew it’d keep us out of the Headmaster’s hands after the mutiny. She wouldn’t have me flown half way cross the galaxy in a fracking beacon for trouble just to be by her side.
He probably didn’t know anything about the Sith School or the Headmaster; he probably didn’t care any way. Once she got started though, her mouth refused to close. Was she trying to place doubt in his mind about this little mission or convince herself that there was doubt to be had? It doesn’t matter. She answered her internal question aloud. You’ll take me to her. Eris personally requested you to.

Re: Dromund Kaas Temple
Fargo surpress a sigh. Blahblahblah.
No interest of even respond on the girls whining. She sits in between the two officers, Niobe and Tabitha.
Nothing she’s telling him adds new info on, he's still in the dark.
The shuttle manoeuvre into a hangar bay; it's a smaller hangar, close to where the upper decks are.
Two lonely figures awaits the arrival of the shuttle.
The Nosferatu should be hail, I’ve to order them to go back to Adhumar and …You have to be kidding me, he thinks when he notice trough the cockpit windows the two figures, not “fuss pot Nicolas”.
Now he sighs. I prefer its room to its company, he thinks.
The moment the shuttle landed, a stair descend from the shuttle. Doors glides open with a hiss, reveiling a dark haired, late twenties young man with most exceptional blue eyes that matches his clothes; and Katharina, the iron virgin, second in command of the Discordia.
Katharina places her right fist on her heart region. Commander Fargo, welcome back on board the Discordia. The ship is ready to leave on your command.
She nods to Odia, lady Odia, welcome on board the Discordia. I will personally escort you to your quarters, where … Bonjour, I’m Nicolas; the young man who stands beside interrupt her.
Welcome, welcome on board of the Discordia Odia, he says with a fresh voice, while clapping the fingertips of both hands together.
Excited; We have a guest, WE haaave a guueest, while he wobble.
I’m a Cha’ruban droid; human-cyborg relation. At your service during your stay on board the Discordia. He steps forward and plant a kiss on the back of Odia’s hand.
We don’t get much visitors here on board, this is a warship you know.
Only Lord Alexandre visit us from time to time, but that has been a while, he says with a sad voice.
In a blink he changes to lively, and stands straight up, still holding Odia’s hand between his. But now you are here. I’ve been told you are Corellian. He stands straight and spin round. Look, I wear the latest Corellian fashion.
What do you think, do you like it? Do you? Oh you have to tell me all about the latest fashion it says while the droid drag along Odia to the elevator.
Nicolas!!

Re: Dromund Kaas Temple
Odia was unfazed about Fargo’s lack of response. She didn’t think it’d get her anywhere anyway. She descended the stairs slowly wondering what her chance of survival were if she jumped back into the shuttle to steal it. How far would she get? Could they really stop her? She was a Sith with some decent training under her belt. Surely she’d be able to cause some damage before…
…Nicolas. Welcome, welcome on board the Discordia.
She stared at the man thing with a look of confusion. She looked at Fargo then to the woman and back to Fargo. Was this real? Did they drug her before landing? Her befuddled look was replaced with something of an amused smile when Nicolas kisses her hand and continues prattling on.
The levity of his voice was enough to cause the gnawing in her stomach to subside. Attempting to take in his questions and gestures was a welcome distraction. She finds herself being willingly led away from the others towards the elevator. Despite the peril she knew she was in, she found herself much more at ease with…
Nicolas!!
That voice however brought her right back to the situation at hand. She stopped and glared back at Fargo. I think I’d like Nicolas to show me to my quarters.

Re: Dromund Kaas Temple
Ooo Sith spith, thinks Fargo, seeing how Nicolas takes over.
Nicolas!!
Odia stopped and glared back at Fargo.
I think I’d like Nicolas to show me to my quarters.
Fargo is overthinking the situation for a moment. It seemed like Nicolas had a certain charming influence on the girl.
Fargo did hear Nicolas spent a lot of time preparing the visitors’ quarters for Odia’s arrival.
Very well mylady, he says with a small bow. My second in command, Katharina, will escort the both of you to our visitors quarters.
And you, while pointing Nicolas chest, you behave Nicolas.
Aggrieved, he put his chin in the air; I always behave commander Fargo. He pouts; Ask Lord Alexandre. He likes me this way.
Whatever Nicolas, whatever, Fargo responds holding back a sigh. He is not in the mood for a discussion with the tin man. He wants to get as soon as possible to his quarters to overthink the recent occurrences on Dromund. Fuss pot taking over was welcome.
Lady Odia, Katharina; he’s watching them taking the first elevator.
Nicolas lays Odia’s left hand on his right underarm, with his left tapping on it. You are in good hands now lady Odia, while give her a wink. The mirror doors closes, Odia is standing in the middle; Nicolas on her left and Katharina on her right.
I have personal taken care of the furnishing of your quarters lady Odia. Ooo it was fun, all the research, excited; a whole new interior to shape; the styling of new furniture, while he wobbles with his eyebrows, I can’t wait to show it all. This is a warship, you know, so the only visitor we have from time to time is Lord Alexandre. With a sad voice, looking down to the floor, it’s been a long time now since he visited us. He always enjoys my company, and my decorations.
Katharina, is standing with her hands fowled before her, raises her eyes, and suppress a sigh.
It’s true says Nicolas, bending his head before Odia and looking at Katharina.
The doors glides open, Excited claps Nicolas his hands together, we’re he-eere.
Come he says to Odia, and almost drag her along the rectangular corridor, over the shaggy, Royal Blue colored, carpet.
Above them is part of planet Dromund visible through a transparysteel ceiling. The silhouette of the Paragon stands out against the planet.
Dim lights on the natural stone walls, adding a warm light at the planet’s reflection, spread all over them.
Master Alexandre told me he has a whole hall on his Kilrathi with a similar ceiling.
They stop before the only door on this level.
This is your residence during your stay on board. It’s voice protected whispers Nicolas in Odia’s ear.
“Bella Malator” he says with an eerie, accurate imitation of Odia’s voice.
Exciting isn’t it, he ask while he slightly yield at her and at the same time is looking behind him at Katharina, standing behind them. He winks at Odia again, while he bites his lower lip.
Access granted, and while the door smoothly glides open, Nicolas waves with his free hand. Makes me feel like one of those Jedi’s he says with a big grin on his face.
Mylady, says Nicolas. He takes a formal posture, his right arm behind his back, and makes an invitation gesture with his left to Odia to enter, while he slightly bows.
Quickly, almost smooch, he follows Odia into the guest quarters.
Frolic running around Odia and Katharina who are standing in the living-space under a chandelier coming down from the immense, decorated ceiling.
It’s supposed to be an exact copy of your home residence at Correlia lady Odia.
I shouldn’t spoil the whole thing, but you’ll figure it out yourself. Most of it are copies.
I did all the research myself, he whispers in her ear, I’ve being looking for the correct wall colours, have the decorations 3-D printed, even your carpet., the stuffed Bantha.
Look, he takes her hand, a picture of you and your mom.
And here, he leads her to the bedroom and opens a wardrobe. All these clothes are in the latest Correlian fashion. All handmade by myself he says in an content voice.
And here; rushing to the opposite side of the hugh bedroom, the open balcony, with the view on the park. It’s a holoprojection too of course, but nevertheless… Sweet Child of Mine, brought by her band Death’s Parade, floats through the open balcony doors into the guest rooms. Nicolas makes a pirouette and take Odia’s hand as an invitation to join him on a dance.
Well, what do you think, do you like it, do you, do you? Mmmm?
I will be at your full service, day and night mylady, he whispers in her ear, while his mouth almost brushes her cheek.
That’s enough Nicolas, interrupts Katharina. Stand back and better let Odia settle down.
Besides, Odia isn’t going to stay that long on board, we’re just taking her to Hapan Capitole.
That’s long enough for several on board here Katharina., You would be surprised how many of the female officers on board do feel lonely on these deep space missions. And several of them apply me for a magic trick.
Nicolas; ça suffit.
What?? Aggrieved; he shows his hand. Unlike you, none ever complained when I make these two fingers disappear.
Lonely; doesn’t always mean safe.
Ok, Enough; OUT!!
One more word of you and I’ll have your entire memory whipped.
No you won’t, Master has forbidden it. He likes me, he likes me the way I am, says Nicolas while he’s forced by Katharina to move back to the living-space.
He looks over Katharina’s shoulder at Odia. It’s not true that in space nobody hear you scream. Some do scream a lot!
Katharina raises for the blaster at her lap belt. Nicolas, I’m warning you, one more word… Accidents do happens; all the time.
Huh, with his nose in the air, Nicolas turns his back at Katharina and goes inspecting a painting at the wall.
I’m sorry mylady. Please except my apologies. The droid doesn’t know better. Lord Alexandre seems to get kind of sympathy for this one. He has forbidden us of cleaning his memory. Nicolas got affectionate to lord Alexandre and developed some kind of own personality.
And in the masters absence, he seemed to get “lonely” for a droid. As does some of the officers on our missions. What resulted in kind of abuse of the droid by them.
Here, she hands over a comm. Link. He won’t hurt you, or do anything you don’t won’t to be happen. But if this makes you feel more comfortable, this is a direct connection with my comm.link. You may always contact me, no matter what. This entire level here is reserved to the visitors’ quarters. Most of the senior officers are quartered just a level below this one. So I’ll be nearby.
O, I almost forgot, there is a dinner planned, at 7.30 in the officers mess.
If you like you can put on one of the clothes in the wardrobe. Or if you prefer, one of your personal clothes you’ve taking with you and that should arrive any moment now.

Re: Dromund Kaas Temple
Odia is relieved when they enter the elevator and it began to move up instead of down, where she assumed the holding cells were. If it weren’t for Nicolas’ prattling on about how he’d decorated the quarters, she might have still thought a cell was in her immediate future.
…a visitor from time to time is Lord Alexandre. It’s been a long time now since he’s visited us.
That was the second time he’s brought that up. Was it odd? She couldn’t say given she’s not been exposed to Nicolas’ brand of speaking. She had thought to ask if her mother had been aboard, but the elevator stopped and Nicolas’ hyper-ness went into overdrive.
We’re he-eere.
She allows herself to be guided out of the elevator into a very impressive waiting hall. Her eyes attempt to take it all in as they made their way, but she can’t seem to take her gaze off Drumond Kaas. Her stomach once again tightens at the thought of leaving the planet’s safety.
This is your residence. She turns to find that they’ve arrived outside a door. It’s voice protected.
So it was to be a cell. She’d only be let out by Fargo most likely. She was bristling with anger.
Bella Malator.
Her eyes widen at the surreal sensation of hearing her voice come out of Nicolas. How…
The unasked question is quickly waved away with the flick of a hand. Makes me feel like one of those Jedi.
It made her smile. Before she really got the hang of using the Force, she too would pretend she had opened the auto doors. She’d grin at her mother and announce, Look what I did! She’d yell it so loudly others passing by would take note and…
Her musings are halted upon seeing the room. How? The word nearly made it out of her mouth this time, but Nicolas was fliting about the room so happily she remained silent. As he points out the details, she picks up the bantha. The only way she could tell it hadn’t been hers was the smell. This was new, it hadn’t been through the trials of child ownership. It didn’t change the fact that it felt like Uriel the Bantha. It looked like it, but that was with Chloe…
He points to a picture of her mother and she can feel her eyes sting. Too much. This was way too much right now. She had no choice but to follow him around though. The more he showed the more she ached. Hearing her band… remembering the wedding… her time spent with Jaden.
Nicolas’ close proximity startles her. That was awkward. She gratefully takes the reprieve Katharina bought her by taking a step away.
Besides, Odia isn’t going to stay that long on board, we’re just taking her to Hapan Capitole.
Another lurch in her stomach forces her eyes closed. Until she heard Nicolas. Did he just…
He looks over Katharina’s shoulder at Odia. It’s not true that in space nobody hear you scream. Some do scream a lot!
Yes, he did. Her mouth hangs open. He was so childlike. Who would want something like that from someone so…
She picks her mouth up off the floor listening to Katharina. Her shock turning to a sort of sadness for Nicolas. She takes the com and tucks it into her pocket. Staring over at him, she didn’t think she’d have to be worried about him coming after her. Thanks, I’ll think about it. She says about the dinner invitation. A bit more calm she crosses over to Nicolas taking in the painting.
This is all very impressive. I can tell you must have scanned over every holo my family has ever been in. And then some most likely. How had he done this so quickly? She would have asked but was afraid it might make him launch into another tirade of excitement. What she really wanted to know is how long had this particular trip been planned? Did Nicolas just whip all this up spur of the moment or did he have some time?
She scans the walls and finds the picture of Eris and herself. Loneliness. Now she understood why he kept bringing up Alexandre. But what was it about Nicolas that Alexandre liked… surely it wasn’t the magic trick. The thought caused her body to shudder. Gross. Get back on track Odia. Loneliness… she would use this too, just not in the way the other women aboard this ship did. Perhaps you’d help me pick something to wear for dinner. You seem to have a knack for Corellian style. I could use the help.
If he was distracted with helping her, maybe she could calmly coax out the other information she needed. How long did this take? How long has Alexandre been away? How often did he use to come? Had he seen her mother? What do you say?

Re: Dromund Kaas Temple
As you wish mylady. I have four robes that will fit perfectly for the dinner this evening. Hmm, he assess her quickly and before Odia can step back he takes her hand.
Let me show you the robes mylady, taking Odia into the dressing made of a red deep timber. Please wait here, in front of the mirror.
Nicolas takes out the robes and presents them on kind of a tailor’s dummies who’re in the back of the room.
Ready mylady? asks Nicolas and steps back. So what do you think of the first one, while he looks over his left shoulder at Odia. O, I’m sorry. You have to look in the mirror in front of you.
He comes back and stand besides Odia. See.
The dress appears in the mirror, creating the illusion as if Odia wears it. Mmm, no. He claps his hands, “next”. The image of the first robe, changes into the second. You can turn around if you like mylady. It’s just a holo illusion. No, “next”. A third robe appears in the mirror. Yes, yes, this fits perfectly. The color matches perfectly with the tinge of your hair and the curved line is modest. It’s refined enough for the officers dinner without overkill. What do you think mylady?
All officers present will be woman. Besides Master Alexandre, we never get visitors on board. As it’s in their nature to check others out, you will be inspect. Abrupt It’s been a long time now since master has visited us you know. Others say it to.
Surprising changes his voice into a woman’s voice with Hapan accent. I can’t sense the Master no more. Me neither. There stress pattern indicates they're distressing. I wonder if Commander Fargo knows anything. Perhaps that’s why he’s so stressed. His stress pattern is more than distressing. And today it’s are alarming. What happened on Dromund?

Re: Dromund Kaas Temple
Odia stared at the mirror and marveled a little at the technology that must have went into it. She could imagine Hesper or Zara having the best time with this thing. She was twisting from side to side watching the mulberry robe Nicolas picked twist with her.
What do you think mylady?
This’ll do…
Before she can finish her sentence he’s off again about Alexandre. That was fine by her, it saved her the trouble of having to direct the conversation to that subject. She was going to ask how long exactly it’s been, but his voice changed.
I can’t sense the Master no more. Me neither.
She stopped breathing as he went on about stress patterns. They couldn’t sense him? There were only a couple of reasons that could be and the most common was death. She grabbed Nicolas by his solid shoulders. WHAT DID YOU SAY?! She hadn’t intended to yell at him and she found herself attempting to shake it out of him but he didn’t budge.
WHY ARE YOU YELLING AT ME?
I’M NOT YELLING! YOU ARE!
NO I’M NOT!
She was about to scream that he was, but the look in his eyes… Despite what he was, they were expressive. And right now they were expressing alarm. She released him and backed away. Her heart was racing and she was finding it difficult to think. Force her mother would be pissed at her reaction to this. Her mother. For about the millionth time she reached out with the Force. She could sense her, but again it wasn’t right. It was… it lacked flavor.
Eris had a way of displaying stoicism, but that didn’t mean she didn’t feel. Outside Eris is blank, inside a fire hotter than Corellian hell burned. And Odia, being the closest person to her, could pick up on the subtlety of her feelings through the Force. Even if Eris blocked her there had always been nuances and well… texture. It had never been this plain before. How long now?
It’s been a long time now since master has visited us.
You’ve said that. She mumbled to herself. She headed to the main sitting area and plopped down on the couch.
At least two months now.
Two months?
Or more. I can give you an exact time if you’d like.
But… it didn’t make sense. Alexandre had just been on the holo. She remembered vividly the news footage of him and her mother after that elevator crash. Not to mention the funeral for his mother. He couldn’t be dead. That left one of the other reasons he couldn’t be sensed. An inhibitor. She frowned. No Force user would willingly wear one of those. Could someone be making him wear one? And what? He just decided sure why not? No. It didn’t seem likely. He was out in public. If someone were forcing him to do something he’d make it known. She imagined. She couldn’t say she knew much of the man, but she figured he wasn’t the sort to be told what to do.
The third option? He was blocking himself from his people. That would be an undertaking and a pointless endeavor. Why bother? They couldn’t be so close to him that they’d sense his emotional state and even if they were they were so far out they probably couldn’t. And he’d have to block them all day every day, which would be draining to even the most powerful Sith. So she had to circle back to death or an inhibitor. She leaned her head back on the couch in frustration.
Your things are here and just in time too. We’ll be late. You don’t want that. No, I should think not.
She ignores his prattling and goes to her bags. The rate at which he can flip his focus was astounding and she found herself a bit jealous. He is bringing the robe to her, once again explaining why it would suit her when she grabs it from his hands. I’ll dress myself Nicolas. Stay here.
He calls something after her, but she wasn’t paying attention. She reaches into her bag and pulls out her second saber. The other she had on her already. For some reason she wanted both. It made her feel more secure. She pulls the robe on and runs a brush through her hair.
When she exits the room, Nicolas is there holding out some jewelry. She quickly waves them away. Pretty wasn’t exactly what she was going for right now. Let’s go to dinner.
Nicolas takes her arm and starts guiding her through the ship. He was pointing at various areas, noting any facts he had about them. All she could hear was her heart. It was like a drum. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. The door to the officer’s mess slid open. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM.
It wasn’t at all what she expected. She had thought of a cafeteria, similar to that at the temple. Not a nice table set up with various food and center pieces. When they said mess… well she assumed it’d be basic. They were all looking at her. She felt her cheeks warm at the attention and automatically she’s rubbing her arm.
This way mylady. Nicolas starts to direct her around the table. As she made her way, she couldn’t help but notice the sea of blue. For some reason she hadn’t expected them to be wearing their uniforms. What else would they be wearing? A stupid robe like you? She wasn’t helping herself here. Her eyes dance over the table as she looks for Fargo. She would speak with him as soon as dinner was over. Even if she had to corner him.
When she spots him she takes the closest seat to him not waiting for it to be offered or for anyone to pull the chair out. Manners? She had none right now. We need to talk. She looks to the side remembering where it is she was and adds, after dinner. Another pause. Please.

The shuttal brought Malicious back to her ship from the sith base on Drumond . That meeting did not accomplish much it left more questions than answers. Odia was gone and the base is secure and its time for her to get back to business.
Purposefully walking to her office to retrieve some important messages. Placing her tasks in order of importance and delegating what she could. A small smile came to her face the fighter prototype is ready for her to look at. Walking out of her quarters and finds Kyle in the hall walking towards the bridge. Looking at Kyle “ the package is ready”. “ Good news then we leave right away” Kyle stands at attention after he asks. He can see Lady Malicious wearing her usual rode but could see the glint of excitement in her eyes, This was exactly what she needed to get back to normal. We leave in a hour Malicious replies back.

Mylady, he nods at Odia.
My compliments with the choice of your robe. You certainly makes that dress work. Fargo slightly raises his right hand and wave to keep Nicolas at a distance. It's ok Nicolas. You're about to upset Nicolas lady Odia. He's so into etiquette and wanted to escort you to another place. Before odia can reply, it's fine lady Odia, it's fine.
The staff on board here is mostly for several weeks, sometimes even months away from their homes and family. On board of the ship we keep a strict work schedule. Dinner is the only moment where we do not discuss "business" or work. A look at her two lightsabers, and dinner code does not allows any kind of arms.
As Nicolas probably tried to explain.
He noticed the almost implore tone in her earlier "please".
To be honest i'm not feeling that hungry. if you like we can talk in my quarters.
He pulls his chair back and stands up. Nicolas can select some food for you and serve it in my quarters.

Re: Dromund Kaas Temple
Odia frowned at his disapproval of her sabers. She hadn't thought about it, but of course they probably wouldn't allow weapons here. Weapons weren't allowed in the cafeteria at the Sith School either. That ban hadn't been instituted at the Temple... and so she was just always used to having them. If she had thought about it though, she probably would have brought them anyway.
She's relieved when he forgoes dinner here in favor of in his quarters. Odia was certain she couldn't have sat there and made idle chit chat while her mind was preoccupied with something much more important. She follows him out and toward his quarters, her relief slowly disintegrating into worry.
Was being alone with Fargo Darken really a good idea? Couldn't she have brought up her concerns in front of those at the table? They were the high ranking members of the crew after all and if Fargo was tempted to lie, perhaps they wouldn't be? But being alone with him meant... well... being alone with him and that made her uneasy.
If he was ordered to kill you, he'd of done it already. Right? Odia nodded. She couldn't trust that he wasn't bringing her to her death, but at least she could assume he wasn't going to be the granter of it either.
As they enter the room, panic sets in. She looks around, but can't really focus on anything she's seeing. Her stress rises and she's nothing but nerves as she whirls on him. They're dead aren't they? The question was asked as suddenly as it came to her. She backed away from him, making sure there was distance to maneuver in case she had to fight. It's the only explanation.
Your men, she points at him accusingly, they don't sense Alexandre. What I sense of my mother, it's not right. It's not her, not really. She's got a hand at the hilt of one of her sabers. The gesture wasn't meant as a threat, but a comfort for her. Tell me why you're here. Did my mother send you? What were her exact words? You think somethings off too. I could tell while we were in the conference room. What happened to my mother?

Re: Dromund Kaas Temple
Fargo gestures, Have a seat mylady.
A small light, lights up at his chair. Odia, not a word..., please..
Fargo push the button and the door gently woosh open.
Nicolas enters the room, followed by a couple of servant droids, carrying food.
Commander? Where would yo..
Let them place the food on the table Nicolas, says Fargo.
He remain silent while Nicolas arranges the cutlery; the droids put Fish from Adumar, Hapan beef, vegetables, cheese, wine, and other refreshments on the table.
That will be all Nicolas, thank you says Fargo, and stops the droid before he can protest.
As you wish commander, reply’s Nicolas on a tone of what could be a flint of a neglect.
The droids leaves the room, as silent as they entered it.
Thank you my lady, says Fargo while he nods at her.
I believe it’s time to be honest with you as well, and to put my cards on the table, so to speak.
Wat is going on is still unknown to me as well, but I don’t believe lady Eris and Lord Alexandre are dead.
He takes a deep breath, and rubs the back of his hands, while ordering his thoughts.
There is a reason why the men “experience” the presence of our lord and Master. Everybody who serves the Hapan Navy was “chipped”. This allowed lord Alexandre to quickly command all the troops, soldiers and officers as well in times of urgency, without, precious time could be lost by following a regular chain of command. This is a very roughly description, but basicly that’s the way it works. If needed, the chip, working as an conductor can be used by lord Alexandre for more “personalized” individual orders.
A hypothesis is that your mother and lord Alexandre both got chipped and are now under someone’s influence.
However, your mother was secretly able to give me these code.
These are space coordinates far in Hapan territory, but regarding our databank, they leads nowhere.
He opens a drawer and takes out a small, crumpled piece of paper.
I doubt that you know what could be located there, he says, while reaching his hand, holding the paper.
Suddenly he stiffs up, his right hand, holding in Odia’s direction, wrinkle the little paper.
His eyes grow on her, and a little bit of blood appears from his left nostril. His eyes turns in his head as he fell down on the carpet. His spine curved, hands claws in the carpet.
As sudden as it started, he collapses, a sigh escapes him.
Fargo’s bloodshot eyes blink rapidly, first searching the sealing, then the room, to focus on Odia.
With a stifle voice, I know what has happened to them, both are in great danger.

Re: Dromund Kaas Temple
Odia was hesitant to take the seat offered by Fargo. She wasn't interested in discussing things in a calm adult manor. She wanted answers and was prepared to throw a fit the likes of which she was sure this Hapan - General? Commander? - whatever he was, he was about to see the full scale of her petulance and stubbornness.
Her tirade is stopped dead in it's tracks when he shushes her. She's taken aback by the action and before she has a chance to ignore him, she senses the door move. She turns towards it and in the cool reflective metal she catches a glimpse of herself. Pale, wide-eyed, scared and out of control. She swallows her planned outburst, offers Nicolas a small smile, and sits down. A tantrum would not get her what she wanted.
The room is awkwardly silent as the droids went about their tasks. Droids wouldn't notice such things though, would they? Her eyes fall on Nicolas, or would they? Contemplating how human like Nicolas may be might be a fun distraction, but it wasn't going to help her. Her eyes fall on Fargo once more as the droids leave.
I believe it's time to be honest with you as well.
The knot in her stomach tightened and her teeth clamped down on her bottom lip to keep from interrupting him.

She wasn't sure if the confusion she felt was written on her face, but as he spoke about these chip things... that's exactly how she felt. Sounds like artificial Force communication or, she furrows her brow, mind control.
A hypothesis is that your mother and lord Alexandre both got chipped and are now under someone’s influence.
Someone was controlling her mother's mind? Why? Who? She'd have guessed Alexandre, but apparently he was chipped too. If Fargo was right that is.
I doubt that you know what could be located there.
Her hand trembles as she reaches for the paper. She can't read what is on it, but can tell from the writing that it was her mother's... and then it was gone. Hey, what the hell are... her protest cut off by one look at his face. She's unable to say anything else as he falls on the floor. The chair she was sitting in crashes to the ground as she launches to her feet.
Helplessly she watches him convulse and began to wonder if the food or drink were poisoned. She pulls out the com given to her by Katharina to raise an alarm but... it's over. She stands there dumbfounded with the com in her hand.
When she finally processes the scene she can only ask more questions. What in the hell just happened? She stares down at him, looking him over to see if there was some evidence of attack.
I know what has happened to them, both are in great danger.
She gasps audibly at the statement. What? How... she comes to his side of the table to help him up, but stops upon seeing the crumpled paper. Instead of tending to him she snaps up the paper. Tears sting her eyes as she reads the note her mother had covertly passed to him. Here you'll find the answers you seek. She reads it in a whisper. The message was followed by a series of numbers. Coordinates, she didn't recognize. Coordinates that allegedly led to no where.
Mind control. She stares at the bit of blood under his nostril. Are you chipped? Is... is that what happened just now? She backs away from him, placing the paper and her com back in her pocket. Force, what was she supposed to do? If he was chipped or whatever he could be lying. She just couldn't think of why he would.
And the paper he had was in Eris' hand. There was no denying that. Which meant Eris thought Fargo needed this information, and if there was a chance he was compromised she would have never given it to him. Fine. She nodded in affirmation to her decision that Fargo wasn't lying. But now what? If they're in danger we... uh... What else? It was a simple enough choice at this point. Too long had she been without answers. Too long without guidance and communication from her mother. But now there was this tiny paper with a simple command. She was willing to latch on to this paper as if it were an anchor in a storm. We follow my mother's directions and kill anyone who tries to stop us.
TAG: Fargo

Re: Dromund Kaas Temple
The room is dim, only lighted by hull lights of the Malevolence.
Through the window is the vague silhouette of Dromund visible.
A sagging body in the chair, slightly annoyed by the flashing lamp on his comm.
Months has passed, day after day the same tiring routine. the Malvolence out of work.
It’s more then two years now, since Uriël died. At First Malicious kept them exhausting, on her personal crusade against the Jedi. But now, “it felt like she finally has given up” he says to the empty room.
Gloomy looking at the light on his comm, patience blink; red; dark; red; dark; red; dark; red.. He sighs and grabs the com of his desk.
This is Kyle, instinctive he tear the comm away from his right ear. Blaster rifles sound echoes through his comm, someone with an undefined accent at the background swears as a trooper.
What in the Force was going on!?
This is Captain Kyle, you better not blow holes in my ship!!
Captain, Captain! The slightly breathless voice of Kodo.
Kodo! What the heck is going on? I can hear the shooting over there!
It’s those dammn scavenger pirates captain, we took one of their suspicious looking ships.
Dave; you won’t believe what we found on their ship. You just have to come and see this for yourself.
Suddenly the connection is lost, leaving Dave dumb in his office.

Re: Dromund Kaas Temple
The shuttles lands in a small hangar, in the ventral part of the Peira.
It hardly fits, most of the hangar is taken by a worn out Corellian light freighter. Probably a YV-260.
A popular freighter among the pirates thinks Kyle. And probably highly modified by them.
As he walk down the shuttles ramp, he can smell the ozone from recent blaster rifle. Between the two ships, sits on their knees, hands in their neck, two pirates; surrounded by 5 of the Peira’s crewmembers.
They needed some convincement to co-operate says Kodo from inside the freighter to Kyle. We had to blew out a blast door of their ship; they refused to leave this junker.
What were you doing here? asks Kyle at the Pirates; This is a none flying zone. He knows they were scavenging the area, looking for parts; goodies, to sell on the black market.
You can’t just claim the space to be youarss; we’ve as muoch rijeght to be heire as you ave, says one of them to Kyle. Kyle ignores him as he walks to the open cargo door of the freighter. The freighter’s interior steeped in a red light, probably activated by blew up the door. Next to a undefinable block of electronics stands Kodo, with a grin from ear to ear on his face.
He slaps with his right hand on the block; Kyle you won’t believe what we have here. This here, he says with warmth in his voice, it's Tintanglia’s mainframe. It’s really her Dave, it’s her soul.
Every journey, every trip we made with Uriël on board, it’s all in here. She’s been waiting for us all along to be found.
It’s aoars, AOARS!! Sounds it from aside the freighter. Ahh shut up says one the crew, a strangled sound as he smashes his rifle at one of the pirates back.
Kyle stands next to the mainframe, his hands on his back as Kodo enthusiastic chatters. Slightly lost in thoughts. Surprising the mainframe is pretty well conserved and not that much damaged. Must have been blow away after the collision with the Hapan cruiser. I’m pretty sure we can bring her back on line Dave. The Malvolence is way too sophisticated for her; but I think I can plug her in at the Peira’s mainframe. Every journey, every trip we made with Uriël on board, it’s all in here.
Malicious has to be informed about this says Kyle. Malicious has no affiliation at all on this, Dave, she probably won’t even care. He has a point thinks Kyle, the salvage of the Tintaglia’s mainframe was a fortunate event. A treasure of recovered information and data, they thought had been lost.
Despites what Malicious would say, they couldn’t waist this opportunity.
He would inform Malicious. Kyle nods to Kodo, if you think you can couple her to the Peira, then do it. Kodo rubs his hands, as he mutters, if I think I can do it; of course I can, who does he think he’s talking to; while he gently brushes the mainframe.
One of the crew members points with his blaster at the Pirates at their feet, what do we do with them? he asks Kyle.
Where their communications jammed? Asks Kyle Yes captain.
They had no business here in the first place,; waist them in space. Copy their flight records, and erase everything from the last hours on theirs. He looks at the blasted cargo door on the freighter, make it look like an accident, some malfunction.
